What Mapstudy Pest Control Is

A lot of people think a website like this is a pest control company. It is not. Mapstudy Pest Control is a referral service. We connect homeowners in the Cottage Grove area with independent local providers of pest control and wildlife removal.

The providers run their own businesses. They do the inspections, treatments and removals. We help you reach them.

Why This Site Exists

Pests are stressful. Homeowners often grab the first number they find and cross their fingers. In practice, though, rushed choices can mean the wrong treatment, a repeat visit or damage that stays hidden in a wall.

We built this site around one idea: protect the house. A home that stays sound and dry is easier to live in and easier to sell later. Pests like mice, rats and termites can harm insulation, wiring and wood, so doing the job right matters.

How Matching Works

You tell us what is going on. That might be ants in the kitchen, noises in the attic or signs of bed bugs. We then point you to a provider in our network who handles that kind of problem in your area.

You can talk to more than one. Compare, then decide.

What We Expect From Providers

Providers in our network are asked to:

  • Explain the problem in plain words
  • Describe what they plan to do and why
  • Give a written quote before work starts
  • Hold any licenses their state or local rules require
  • Treat your home with care

We encourage you to ask about licensing and insurance directly. Providers are responsible for their own credentials.

What We Do Not Do

We do not send workers to your door. We do not perform treatments, set traps or seal entry points. We do not set prices, and we cannot promise a certain result. Each provider decides what to charge and how to do the job.

We also do not tell you what your insurance will cover. Some policies may cover sudden damage, so check your policy. Providers can often help document damage for a claim.

How We Are Paid

Homeowners do not pay Mapstudy Pest Control to be connected. Providers in our network may pay a referral fee when we send them a customer. You pay the provider directly for the work, at the price in your written quote.

Because of this, we want you to feel comfortable getting more than one estimate. There is no obligation to hire anyone.
